37th
Automorphic Forms Workshop
Visual  Identity

This project is about creating a complete graphic identity for an annual math conference. The design is inspired by the 'Poincaré disk model' from mathematics, which helps create interesting geometric patterns for the visuals. We’re using the Schläfli symbol {3,7} to represent the 37th year of the event."

About the Workshop

For the past 37 years, the Annual Workshop on Automorphic Forms and Related Topics has been known as a welcoming and friendly event. It brings together a wide range of participants — from students and recent PhDs to experienced researchers. For young researchers, the workshop offers support and encouragement. For established experts, it’s a chance to mentor and share ideas. Over the years, the workshop has gained international recognition for its high-quality research presentations and its supportive environment for junior scholars.

At the workshop, participants share the latest research on topics connected to automorphic forms. These include mock modular forms, Maass wave forms, elliptic curves, Siegel and Jacobi modular forms, special values of L-functions, random matrices, quadratic forms, and applications of modular forms, among many others.

Besides research talks, the workshop has also hosted panel discussions on useful topics like grant writing, mentoring, research partnerships, undergraduate research (REUs), outreach, and opportunities for international collaboration. Because these sessions have been well-received, we will be offering similar panels again this year.

The 2025 Automorphic Forms Workshop will take place in Denton, Texas, at the University of North Texas. It is being organized by faculty from the University of North Texas, Boston University, and the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley..
